Carancas: 2 fragments 0.4g. With Fusion Crust.
These photos are the best I can do with my little digital camera. At some point I'll get a fragment under my microscope for a closer look and post some pics here. Classified by the University of Arizona the meteorite is an ordinary chondrite, an H chondrite breccia, containing clasts of petrologic types 4 to 5. The formal classification is H4-5. The meteoroid had experienced a considerable amount of shock before its ultimate encounter with Earth.
