Tulia (b) 2.2g partslice [Item #S18]

This part-slice displays a very nice 'river' of FeNi at one end.
It was found in Swisher County, Texas, USA at coordinates 34°32'N., 101°42'W., in 1917 [Recognized 1982]. This stone is an olivine-hypersthene chondrite (L6). TKW 4.8 kg.
Tulia (b) was collected by H. Nininger in 1917 and obtained from him by the Field Museum, Chicago, in 1940. It was found to be distinct from the Tulia originally reported as an H5 chondrite.
